At Paw Branch, we believe that every product should be safe for dogs, fun to use, and kind to the planet. We only source from within the UK to help reduce our carbon footprint, and we know that choosing the right toy, rope, or chew for your dog's size and chewing style is important — but so is understanding what it's made from.

We’ve carefully selected a range of high-quality eco-friendly dog products made from materials that are either renewable, recyclable, or both. We believe in transparency, so here is a guide to the materials we use across our birthday boxes and gift boxes,  individual toys, ropes, and strong chews — and why we chose them.

Natural Rubber and Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR)

When it comes to durable toys for strong chewers, rubber is the go-to material. Not all rubber is the same, which is why we use two specific types that align with our values. Natural Rubber is sourced directly from rubber trees, making it a renewable and biodegradable choice. It's tough, flexible, and perfect for toys designed to last. We’ve chosen products made from a high percentage of natural rubber to ensure safe and long-lasting play.

Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) is a recyclable blend of plastic and rubber. It is non-toxic and can be fully recycled at the end of its life, making it an eco-friendly option for durable dog toys.

Natural Fibres

For dogs who prefer softer textures or for supervised playtime, we also use natural fibres. Jute is a strong, natural plant fibre that is hard-wearing and biodegradable, making it an excellent choice for toys and ropes. It’s particularly good for fetch and tug play.

We also use high-quality suede, which is both durable and soft, offering dogs a texture they enjoy for a variety of play styles.
